Not much to update.

We’re currently working on a One Day music video. Early production has begun on the next project which will take a drastic turn away from the punk sound of the first mixtape. We’re going more literary and dark and moody. It’s gonna be cool.

That’s what this demo is, I’m not sure if the song is done yet. I feel like there could be another verse. So far the machine says this is what the poem / song is about:

This poem seems to explore themes of exploitation, detachment, and artistic integrity. The speaker describes creating a new form of torture for personal gain, indicating a cold, possibly cynical attitude towards others' suffering. The imagery of snow on the bedside and socializing with prominent figures in fancy New York bars adds layers of contrast and irony, highlighting the speaker’s separation from the consequences of their actions.

The line about not mentioning the victim’s name and leaving it to critics to decide what’s personal suggests a deliberate distancing from the source of their inspiration or wrongdoing. Overall, the poem critiques the commodification of personal pain for artistic or financial benefit, while examining the moral ambiguity of such practices.

I guess I will keep trying to write it as I go along and we will see what happens. The lyrics are below for anyone interested.

Enjoy the rest of your September and see you in the near future.

So I’ve invented this new form of torture

So that I can profit off your sadness

And though it snows on my bedside

I do not let it get me down

Because I hang out in fancy New York bars

With the poets and playwrights of our time

And they all ask how I cracked the code

But I will never mention your name

No i’ll let the critics decide

Which parts are mine
